Frequently asked questions

How long will my package take to arrive?

Air freight packages typically arrive within a few business days of reaching our overseas warehouse, while sea freight takes longer but is more economical for large or heavy items. You can track your package's progress from your dashboard, and we'll email you the moment it's ready.

Will I have to pay customs duty on my package?

Customs duty is determined by Jamaica Customs based on the type and value of the item. Some low-value personal items may clear without duty, while others attract charges. We handle the clearance process for you and let you know of any charges before delivery, so there are no surprises.

Are there any restricted items?

Yes. Items prohibited by law or by our carriers cannot be shipped. These include flammable or hazardous materials, weapons and ammunition, illegal substances, and certain aerosols and batteries when shipped by air. If you're unsure about an item, contact us before you buy and we'll confirm.

Can I send items of any size?

Absolutely. We ship everything from small envelopes to barrels, appliances, and commercial cargo. Smaller items usually travel by air, while larger and heavier shipments are best suited to our sea freight service.

Do I have to provide an invoice for my package?

Yes. An invoice or proof of purchase helps us clear your package through customs quickly and accurately. You can upload it from your dashboard or email it to millexpress@jm.com with your tracking number.

Registration is completely free. Your shipping cost is based on the weight and size of the package, plus any applicable customs charges. Optional services like door-to-door delivery may carry a small charge, and we'll always tell you the full cost up front.
